CODE OF ETHICS
PREMISE
Ethics is not just a set of rules, but a cultural choice.
For Ken Scent, ethics means integrating respect for people, the environment, and the community into everyday decisions. It means operating with awareness, acting with transparency, and cultivating relationships that generate human as well as professional value.
This Code of Ethics represents the framework that guides our work and our decisions, and is the foundation upon which we build the quality of the services we offer.
This culture is naturally based on compliance with laws and regulations, as well as respect for our company's values, as well as trust and integrity. It must be pursued by all employees and collaborators in their daily activities, regardless of nationality, location, position, or seniority. Our Code of Ethics establishes the fundamental principles that frame and guide our daily actions. The Code of Ethics creates a framework that we must all adopt in our professional activities when interacting with employees, customers, shareholders, suppliers, and business partners. It also defines our commitment to the environment, aimed at protecting and reducing our impact on it, and to society at large, in which we intend to play a positive role as a socially responsible, committed, and accountable company.
Ethics awareness and training programs are available to all company employees. This program provides all employees with the tools to understand what is expected of them and guides them in adhering to the company's ethical principles through the use of specific scenarios and relevant examples.
OUR ETHICAL PRINCIPLES
Ken Scent guarantees honest and responsible conduct. Adopting an ethical approach to business in all circumstances is a guarantee of longevity. Success and sustainable development in our markets depend on the trust of customers, employees, shareholders, suppliers, business partners, and local communities. This trust is built over time and must be earned every day.
The Ken Scent Code of Ethics is updated regularly and pursues a dual objective:
-define the company's ethical principles in a simple and methodical way
- contact all our internal and external interlocutors within the company
The ethical principles shared by all of us are:
• work with integrity, responsibility and authenticity;
• comply with current regulations;
• protect the dignity and rights of every person;
• act with attention towards the environment and common resources;
• cultivate loyal and transparent collaborations;
• carefully safeguard the confidentiality of the information;
• promote a work ecosystem that fosters growth, creativity and well-being;
• contribute to more collaborative, inclusive, and peaceful models of sociality.
Every Ken Scent employee or collaborator must be familiar with the Code of Ethics and its principles, and must reflect before acting, especially when in doubt about behavior. Employees must also be vigilant, seek help if they are unable to resolve ethical dilemmas they face, and report any problems or violations of the Code of Ethics. We are committed to preventing and sanctioning violations of the Company's Code of Ethics and taking necessary corrective action.
EMPLOYEES AND COLLABORATORS
To help all employees perform their duties successfully and in accordance with the company's rules and ethical principles, managers are responsible for incorporating the company's values and ethical principles, setting a personal example of conduct, and ensuring that their teams apply and comply with the Code of Ethics. They ensure the dissemination of key messages and best practices within the company and are at the forefront of listening to and supporting their teams in the event of ethical issues or dilemmas, encouraging them to freely express their doubts and concerns.
We are committed to respecting and implementing the following values and rules in our professional relationships: Integrity, loyalty, and responsibility. In general, our daily professional conduct, whether at work or on the move, must ensure compliance with corporate ethical principles and protect the company's interests and image. We must guarantee our colleagues and collaborators respect and fairness, as well as the certainty of a motivating work environment that respects the dignity and rights of each individual and fosters development and well-being. We intend to promote a human resources policy that contributes to the professionalism, motivation, and job satisfaction of each individual by offering training, mobility, and internal promotion opportunities, and by developing each individual's professional integration. We offer a work environment that complies with social legislation, in line with environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations. We encourage the freedom of expression of company employees. Ken Scent does not tolerate any form of harassment, discrimination, intimidation, bullying, or humiliating behavior of a psychological or sexual nature, or that constitutes an abuse of power. Each individual is responsible and expected not to behave in a way that violates the integrity and rights of others. Ken Scent believes that diversity is the source of creativity and innovation. We place great emphasis on developing an inclusive approach that takes into account all differences, so that everyone has the opportunity to be themselves. Therefore, we are committed to fostering a culture of equality at all levels of the organization and offer our teams an open and stimulating work environment, free from any type of discrimination, which contributes to the company's success. We promote equal opportunity and treatment. In this context, we affirm our commitment to greater diversity and gender equality in all roles and positions at all levels of the company, especially by putting an end to the dispersion of female talent along the hierarchical line. Well-being at work, work-life balance. To ensure our employees maintain a healthy work-life balance and to support the well-being of each individual at work, Ken Scent is committed to fostering a supportive, caring, and productive work environment. To this end, the company implements policies and mechanisms that facilitate each individual's daily routine and quality of professional life: remote working, parental leave, and wellness days. Furthermore, Ken Scent also provides its employees with awareness training on domestic violence and its impact on the workplace, confident in its role in making the company a safe and welcoming place for all women.
